Creating a soulful Brand Identity through strategy, archetypes & photography

As a brand design agency for female entrepreneurs, I had the pleasure of building a complete brand identity for Miyabi Aura Bliss — a beautiful, intuitive wellness brand led by an inspiring founder. In this case study, I’ll walk you through the strategy behind the design, the archetype we chose, and how photography brought it all to life.

Some journeys are set in motion long before we even realize it.

When Monika, the founder of Miyabi Aura Bliss, reached out to me, it wasn’t by accident. She had seen the transformation I created for my dear client and friend, Ewelina, founder of Rogalska ToTall Begeleiding. A year earlier, Ewelina and I had worked closely — redefining her brand with a new logo, a fresh color palette, a full personal branding photoshoot, and a visual identity that finally expressed her authentic self.

Witnessing Ewelina’s powerful transformation, Monika felt a spark. She realized that building a magnetic personal brand isn’t about creating something artificial — it’s about uncovering the soul and allowing it to shine through every detail.

That’s how our beautiful journey together began. 

The Power of Branding Archetypes

Before designing a logo, launching a professional branding photoshoot, or writing a single caption, we went inward. We uncovered the emotional heart of the brand.

We discovered that Miyabi Aura Bliss is built primarily on the Lover archetype, supported by the inner strength of the Hero archetype:

  • The Lover offers luxury, emotional connection, sensuality, and a deeply nurturing experience.

  • The Hero plays a subtle, yet powerful supporting role — inspiring confidence, empowerment, and resilience.

This is the magic of branding with archetypes: When your brand archetype is clear, your message becomes magnetic. Your clients don't just "see" you — they feel you.

Every decision — from services to client communication, from colors to typography — flowed naturally from these archetypes.

This clarity set the tone for everything: the brand strategy, the graphic design, the business portraits, the voice, and the client experience.

Laying the Foundation of the brand identity

With the archetypes guiding us, we built the practical structure for Miyabi Aura Bliss:

  • Ideal clients: Successful, active individuals who value both aesthetic beauty and holistic well-being — seeking personalized, luxurious care.

  • The brand’s deeper promise: To nurture both external beauty and internal harmony — offering transformative moments of indulgence, healing, and empowerment.

  • What sets Miyabi Aura Bliss apart: A transformative fusion of traditional and modern techniques, deeply inspired by Dr. Schurevich’s holistic philosophy, emotional care, and exclusive, high-end experiences.

This foundation wasn’t based on trends or fleeting ideas. It was built from the truth of the brand’s heart — the Lover’s warmth and the Hero’s inspiring spirit.

Crafting the Visual Identity

Every branding choice was made intentionally:

  • Color Palette: Pure whites, floral neutrals, earthy golds, passionate reds, grounding blacks.

  • Typography: Allison Script + Montserrat, balancing heartfelt warmth with professional strength.

  • Logo Design: A woman’s face cradled by healing hands inside a circle, symbolizing protection, nurturing, continuity, and holistic beauty.

Expanding the Brand: Website and Social Media Launch

Beyond creating the branding and professional business portraits, I designed and launched the website for Miyabi Aura Bliss — ensuring every detail aligned with the emotional depth and luxury of the brand’s identity.

To support a successful brand launch:

  • I created and managed social media accounts (Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook).

  • Designed custom social media templates reflecting the brand’s unique style.

  • Collaborated with my Social Media Manager to create three months’ worth of strategic posts — ensuring a smooth, professional start online.

Once the branding voice, visual style, and strategy were clearly established, we successfully transitioned the social media management to Monika’s own Social Media Specialist in April 2025.

Bringing the Brand to Life Through Branding Photography

After building the brand’s strategy and visuals, it was time to bring the story to life visually through photography.

I had the joy of photographing Monika — capturing her elegance, strength, and nurturing presence.

Later, I photographed Anna, the gifted masseuse and second soul of Miyabi Aura Bliss. Her healing touch and calming presence embody the brand’s promise.

These sessions were transformational branding experiences — crafted to express the mission, heart, and soul behind Miyabi Aura Bliss.
